Those with Parent or Student privileges have access to the direct message center. Each have access to send messaging to the student's teachers or group owners.

Signal Kit members will receive a Welcome Email. Click “Get Started” to start the onboarding process.

If a member is unable to find the Welcome email:

1. Search the junk folder and mark as safe

2. Head to https://app.signalkit.com/login/ and click on “forgot password”. Enter the email address that’s found within the SIS to access password reset email.

Parents/Guardians also have access to filter the feed based on each student’s classes and/or groups. Students populate within the left navigation and the parents can expand the lists for each child. 

As of 7/29/2019, any new member who receives their first SMS/Text notification from a district, school, class or group (or current member who re-enables SMS notification preferences) will also receive automated instructions on how to opt-out (STOP), display the instructions again (HELP), and opt back in for SMS/Text notifications (START). This process follows industry standards.
