HTML Editing and Email Client Variables

  • The HTML editing tool is intended for those familiar with HTML and CSS coding best practices. Unexpected results may occur with your final email delivery.
  • This tool only provides access to the HTML content area and does not provide editing of your district or school email template.
  • Visual previews in this workflow provides an approximate preview of your changes but please be aware that support for some HTML and CSS elements varies by email client software. The in-app preview may not exhibit these issues.

  • We remove iframes from emails and only insert the content from the iframe when the content includes a video from Youtube or Vimeo.

  • For best results, always use inline CSS.

  • For advanced layouts, use the table tool for the best results.

  • If unsure and you are a member of the recipient group, you may send a test email to yourself or other members of the group using the 'Individuals' subset filter or use an Ad-Hoc CSV announcement containing testing emails.

     in the Compose step.

  • You can easily reuse a test announcement using the "Archive" tab in the Announcement Manager.

  • For advanced email previews, we recommend Litmus.com which provides testing results in 30+ email clients.
